As we reflect on the terror that was inflicted a decade ago in the world on 9-11, we must be thankful and appreciative for all that we have. For all those who are lost and those who have lost, we keep you in our prayers. Yes, 9-11 was a tragedy but it has brought everyone closer and made us truly realize how precious our time here on earth is. Hate and prejudice are inevitable due to human error but through our own free will we must try our best to do all we can to unite and make the world a better place.

Frank Ocean wrote a beautiful song called “We All Try” that I feel is relevant in everyday situations but truly special on this day. We must all try in order for us to progress and together we can accomplish anything. “I believe jehovah jireh. I believes there’s heaven. I believe in war…” -Frank Ocean

Everyday is a new opportunity to live and learn. Hopefully, we can all realize that not only should we recognize the impact it made on this day but everyday that we live.
